I started training with Nick over two years ago and he has truly changed my way of life. I cannot imagine a week without training, he has made it a part of my weekly routine and I feel so much more healthier and fit. I have been working out with Nick for a year now. When I first went to see him, I had not been to a gym in years and had gained substantial weight (60lbs) after having two children. I was having ongoing issues with my lower back from being overweight and out of shape. I started going once a week for one-on-one training sessions. I started to notice a difference within a few weeks. I told Nick about my lower back issues and he was very careful to choose exercises that I was able to do without aggravating my back. He worked on strengthening my core muscles to help prevent future flare-ups of back pain as well. I'm a 47 year old man, and I've never stuck with a regular exercise program or diet in my life. I started training with Dan in April 2010 and the results I have achieved have been quite dramatic. The day my brother-in-law introduced me to Nick was the day my life changed. I had lost some weight before meeting with Nick but I had hit a plateau. I was only doing cardiovascular exercises for my continued weight loss but the weight wasn't coming off anymore. I have been a regular gym enthusiast for over twenty five years. After getting bored and tired with the same old workouts, I decided to join a group fitness class hoping for a new challenge. I decided to join Forever Fit's Boot Camp challenge and try it out for four weeks. It has now been almost five months and I am still enrolling each new month for more classes. I have been taught new exercises that I can now apply to my own workouts, my cardiovascular conditioning has improved substantially but best of all I have dropped almost 18lbs without even changing my diet! I have been working out with Nick for approximately nine months. My daughter Shanna had been training with him, and when my trainer retired from the business, I needed to find a new one. It's very true when someone says you need to find a trainer you connect with. The right fit is just as important as regular workouts. I had an incredible bond with my first trainer and was very sceptical I'd find a replacement that even came close. After much coaxing from Shanna, I started with Nick and never looked back. He is dedicated to his profession, and therefore, understanding his clients' needs and challenges are his priority. Along with being over fifty, I have some physical challenges that he takes very seriously. His motto is "for every exercise there is an alternative." I know that if doing something hurts, he can immediately change that activity to something else, which means unlimited options for me. It sounds corny, but my best days of the week are days that start my workouts with Nick. What he is teaching me I can do anywhere on my own. What I have learned beyond exercises, are lessons for a lifestyle....discipline, healthy nutrition options, and balancing my lifestyle within those boundaries. I have a weight loss goal which I think Nick takes more seriously then I do sometimes. He pushes, prods. cajoles and encourages me to strive for those goals. His example is also a huge motivator. I believe that anyone who wants or needs to improve their health and fitness will have 100% success with Nick.
